- Since 2 February 2026, access to the inner perimeter (basin) of the Trevi Fountain costs EUR 2 (official site
  fontanaditrevi.roma.it). Paid hours: Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun 9:00-22:00; Mon and Fri 11:30-22:00; last entry
  21:00 every day, so there are no new entries between 21:00 and 22:00. The piazza view stays free at all hours;
  the basin is free after 22:00 and before the morning start (NPR: up close is free after hours).
- Free entry: residents of Rome and the Metropolitan City (with ID), children under 6, people with disabilities plus
  one companion, licensed tour guides, Roma MIC Card holders. Tickets online, at civic museum ticket offices,
  Tourist Infopoints, affiliated outlets, or at the entrance by card only.
- The coin toss is still allowed. About EUR 1.5 million a year (about EUR 4,000 a day on average; record about EUR 1.6
  million in 2023) is collected,
  roughly three times a week, and given to Caritas Roma.
